I was mostly just wondering. GM recommends a head gasket with
a stainless steel fire ring to prevent galvanic action. I used the stock
head gaskets for this head. They are 0.051" thick. This reduces the
compression ratio also. I remember the heavy stainless ring around
each chamber. Back in '90 the part number was #14088948. This
is supposed to be stock Vette gaskets for that year.
