You have had an unfortunate experience with one of the minions of CC
(Circuit Cellar). OTOH, CC makes their money by selling information, so it's
no wonder they wanted to charge you for it. IMO, US$24 (delivered) for a whole
years worth of CC Inc. on CD is good value. Here's the link for both the

I guess the Internet makes people think that things in electronic form (GIFs,
text, etc.) should be free, but, just as some people turn a screwdriver to make
a living, others hit keys on a keyboard.

If you really want to complain about prices, then how about the SAE's rich
prices for their standards documents?
