Well,

On the ALDL data stream definition for my car computer,
most of the temps are tabled, alot of the other stuff
is not tabled. And also the temps looks rather non-linear
at the ends of the table, which would be pretty hard to model with an simple linear equation.

Subject:	'7747 CTS in A/D Counts?? (ALDL)

Is there a formula to convert the A/D counts into degrees celcius? I've
found tables on both Dan and ECMGuy's pages that show the correlation, but
no formulas.

I've got Peter Gargano's ALDL scanner working like a charm on my '7747 and
I'm trying to figure out how to convert the raw data (in Excel) to something
that I can turn around and use in correlation with TunerCat. This is the
only thing really holding me up at this point. I've figured out all the
formulas for the rest of the data.

BTW, my CrossFire-to-'7747 pigtails work like a champ! If anyone is
interested in seeing them, go to
http://www.enteract.com/~mikew/ubb/Forum4/HTML/000107.html and there's a
picture of it. I just made a PCB that matches the original ECM's, and
soldered the wires off a '7747 onto it so I didn't have to cut the original
harness. (I wanted it to be "plug-and-play" in case there were problems.)
The PCB's have the same thickness as the original ECM's so there's no worry
of contact problems. I haven't had a check engine light yet!

P.S. - Thanks to everyone who has helped me with this project.. you know who
you are!
