port injection for 4.3L V6 ?

Hi everyone,

I have a '90 Chevy S10 with the 4.3L V6 and TBI.
It is bone stock.  After a stock rebuild, it is running well again.
I believe I understand the TBI system fairly well and
would like to upgrade the induction to port injection.
I am looking at street use only, with the occasional tow.
Would like to improve low RPM torque if possible.
Does this type of retrofit even make sense?
Are there any factory port injected 4.3 (or other) systems
that could be retrofitted?
Any other recommendations from the list members?
I am open to all options at this point.
