Metric/US horsepower?

Okay, I knew there was a US gallon and an imperial gallon, but how
about a metric horsepower (735.5 W) and a US horsepower (745.7 W),
where W is a (universal) Watt.

What (watt?) does THIS LIST generally accept as a conversion between
a kilowatt (kW) and a horsepower?
