Okay, anyone understand changes made to the TCC lockup values on a
7747? I suppose for a 6026 no one really understands how it works.
Below is a table of values that have changed from the original stock
calibrator to a replacement stock calibrator which fixes TCC lockup
problems. With the contents in the first colum, TCC lockup occured in
2nd gear (noticed if you held it in 2nd). It engaged at around 16-18
MPH. In 3rd, the TCC engages right away - (perhaps speed set too low).
Same with 4th gear.
Now, with the contents in the 2nd column, TCC lockup no longer occurs in
2nd, comes on at 42-43 MPH in 3rd, and similar for 4th (or a bit higher,
would have to test again).
The 3rd column is values from an ADS powerchip. The powerchip has TCC
modifications to it as well - the chip hasn't been tested yet.
So can anyone figure out what those values represent, perhaps comparing
how they work on a newer ECM?
Thanks,
Louis
