Try a large electrical supply house and check a catalog for T & B or some
other major lug manufacturer. Welding cable (or any cable with fine
strands) has a larger diameter than "normal" building wire. Lugs are
specifically made for the finer strand wire. Another source is a marine
supply such as West Marine. They have lugs and fine stranded tin plated
wire up to 2/0.
