85 Vette Idle Problem - HELP!!!!

Your ECM [ If it's the Origional One] Shoud have the BCC on the label.
Any one with a UV Eracer and prom burner should be able to load
the image file. You may be able to locate matching BCC on gmecm site.

Too much cam will always cause rough idle and fool with the MAP.

Gently tap the MAF with a small screw driver handle , if engine stalls,
replace the Maf...... Don't hammer on the MAF , tap gently.

Issues like vacuum leaks , Egr valve leaks , slow response O2 sensor,
leaky valve seats , Weak valve springs , to identify a few , can all be
idle quality killers. Fuel pump and pressure regulator bugs don't help .

Merely replacing parts , doesn't necessarily mean anything will change,
especially if the replacement part [s] aren't dead on spec.

Blue Oval tuning techniques differ from GM , specifically , as well
as the differences in the Engine Controllers.

Tough to diagnose problems like this over the wire , bugs can reside in
any vehicle hardware item. The devil is in the Details.
One last thing , if you can't get any ALDL Data with a Scantool , it's
likely
    the ECM is Sick.
