ECM Addon's (and other dodgey items)

Hi All,

Just reading through a Street Car Magazine today and couldn't believe the
amount of B.S items around for EFI cars. Some examples -

'TPS Enhancer' - Modifies TPS signal to show ECM/PCM W.O.T earlier.
'IAT Mod' - Fudges IAT signal to read cold.
Modified MAF sensors who's frequency O/P is not what it should be.

Most of us here know better and would never buy such crap.
So for a laugh, please feel free to share some more of these wonderful cons
(no names please), or prove me wrong, do they actually work?
