Basic ODB Q's Newbie stuff

The ODBII ECM platform is the EEPROM platform, correct?  i.e. All the EEPROM 
ECM's are ODBII ECM's, true?  All earlier ECM's are ODBI unit, True?

PCM = Powertrain Control Module  True?
CCM = Central Control Module  True?

Which one is the ODBII unit?
