Marc,

I would be VERY surprised if GM still use the old square wave I/P for the
LS1 generation of PCM's.
The ones out here in Australia (It is the same PCM) communicate over the
Class2 data line with the security system (actually it gets converted to
UART data). It is all done in serial comms, no simple square wave foolery
these days...
