Corvette LS1 throttle body question

Anyone know what the small tubes on the bottom of an LS-1 TB are for? I 
thought they were ported and manifold vacuum ports but when I cover one tube 
with my finger and blow on the other, its a sealed passage. Was this for 
engine water to keep the TB from icing up? The tubes are too small for that I 
would think. Thanks for any assistance. JW
