Calpack id on 747?

When I bought one from GM, the box said 16060836.  The chip itself read
16060837.  I called parts and they told me the 837 number was no good.   He
said the 837 was an internal GM number and the 836 is the number for two
parts (an assembly), a chip and the holder its in.
