,V6 knock filter will not work correctly in the V8 they are all set up to a
specific bore size / engine design etc . Why the big worry about a knock
filter the engine will make max power at all points with a lot less timing
than the knock limit if tuned correctly.

the netres chips are not available seperately cheaper and easier to get
another memcal and fit a zif socket to it so you ncan swap the eprom out
easier.
