TPI & 4L60E - 93 model '8625

Howdy,

This has been a dilemma for me... I currently have an 83 GMC fullsize
that I have a 305 TPI installed in. I have been traveling around to a
lot of motorcycle/quad races in a couple states recently and have
decided I needed an extended cab. Came across a wrecked '93 4x4 with
the '8625 pcm that I'm building. I was wondering if the injector
drivers could handle TPI or if there were any other problems I'd run
into replacing the TB with TPI. From what you're saying I can do it
with only a custom chip - if so that's great news!!! I'm fine with
speed density, actually prefer it and if I can still control an
electronic tranny, I'm all set!!!!

If the '8625 won't handle it, is there much to changing it out for an
'94 model PCM?

TIA
Gabe
