LT5 DIS was Re: How does a DIS

Well BW , on the other side of the street , especially with older OBD1
controllers,
Northstar/ Arorra coil pack / module might be worth a try. Intrestingly
, Nissan
NSX 16v used COP with external thin film module to fire the 4 coils. ,
Chevrolet
rearranged the furniture , built a similar ckt individually integrated
and added
a short secondary wire. Better to fire with each coil than fire 2 with one
coil. The recovered loss really starts to add up to big dividends. The
thin film ckt
in the LS1 CNP could be duplicated , outside the potting, if someone
wanted to
do the work. It's no accident that the LS1 PCM has much less hardware
on the
    PCB real estate.
