The National Corvette Museum has the only 1983 vin corvette to survive
the testing initial production stage,  It is on display.  When the plant
got it out of the 'back lot'  and drove it to a display in 91 the gas
was so stale that it would not restart and run right (Exhaust smelled
terrible) so they had to truck it back to the plant.  Since the fuel
delivery system did not change with the holdover to 84 for full
production the 83 classification would be correct.
