Not a bad thought, but probably simpler to just TAKE the good oil real
estate, and use the profits from selling it at a REASONABLE price to keep
(whatever little is left of) the sources of the problems decisively  in the
stone age in the middle of the non-oily parts of the desert!

We have the technology to do this, why not just git after it ?? My moral
reservations regarding this approach have been cancelled recently! F*ck
'em!
