You know what burns me? We're (the US that is) about to spend $40B to
kill a bunch of cockroaches whose fervent 'religious' desire is to
transport the planet back a millenium, when Islam was briefly a world
power.

We should be going to the planets, working on leveraging our knowledge of
gene technology to eradicate a host of congenital diseases, developing
new sources of non-greenhouse power and propulsion, etc. You know, things
a modern 21st century civilization should occupy itself with.

Instead, we have to spend an enormous expense of heart-rending
tearsNsorrow & fire-fighting expense just to rid the world of the latest
backward regressive scourge.

My only consolation at the moment is that since we have already probably
spent that much just trying to keep them at bay so we could concentrate
on better things, *this time*, man I am going to be really *pissed* if we
don't stomp those disgusting roaches into extinction.

There are lots of interesting, beautiful creatures that are now teetering
on the brink of extinction, like the great whales and the Manatee for
example. We should be assisting them, instead of having to eradicate this
latest sub-humanoid pest. The whales and the Manatee strike me as far
more worthy of existence than these jihadick slime.

That's what  really burns me. Time to get wise.
