[Gmecm] Vortec & LT1 crank sensors

On a somewhat related note, how does the Vortec crank sensor setup compare 
to the OBD-II LT1/4 crank sensor arrangement?
How does the Vortec work a cam sensor? peg on the cam sprocket?
