Hmmm. When studying for a master's degree, we built an HEV, which used E100. 
As in 100% ethanol. As in nothing but ethanol. Due to pressures from ATF, we 
turned it into E95 by blending it with 5% gasoline. E95 was nasty smelling, 
raw or burnt. This was back a few years, however.
