I've got a bag full of the 10 pin connectors that will mate to that, along with the pins, and the pin out.

Drop me a note with an address and I can send one out to you.

Regards
John

Subject: [Gmecm] GM Marine EFI

I have a 1996 Malibu Boat with an Indmar 320HP 5.7
Vortec Engine equipped with a GM MEFI-2 unit. I want
to read the fault codes from the diagnostic connector.
I know that Rinda makes a Marine version of Diacom but
I do not want to spend $580 just to read the codes
from my laptop.

1) Does anyone have the pin out for this connector?
It is not a standard Automotive ALDL connector (It has
10 pins).

2) Do I need a special circuit or is a standard PC
serial interface acceptable?

3) How do I interpret the serial bit stream?

4) Where can I find an On-line technical source to
learn about this EFI unit?
