[Gmecm] Another stupid P4 memcal question

Mark, Does the LED trick work with the knock sensor circuit still intact? Or
do you have to remove the circuit board completely? I'd like to take a look
at that drawing if you don't mind sending it to me.

hi, the  " white circuit boad " is  a knock decoder board.
as far as i kow they are interchangeable ,  but i  THINK it  might throw a 
cel if use the memcal  with a  knock boad in a appliation where it dont use 
one.

i have a schematic where u can cut the knock board off and  use a few 
conponentsand make a stand alone sensor that flashes a led when it detects 
knock.
