I'm Not sure I follow you. Upto 1994 the used the OBD1 plug but 1995
Camaro's went to an OBD2 plug but still used OBD1.

Well that's what I would have expected, but the 2 datastream papers said
they use pin 'M' to read data.

ATM I'm attempting to write to/from the serial port on the laptop. Once I
can communicate with the ABS/ECM modules, I think i should be able to get
something working.

I certainly know more now than i did at 3 o'clock this morning :-)
