Sources from PROM Programmer & EPROM Burner

 I need to download the code currently residing on a stock GM PROM 
 (Mem/Calc) chip from a 1990 Lotus Esprit SE.  I assume that in this 
 pursuit I will require a PROM programmer as well as an EPROM burner to 
 create a reprogrammed chip.  I would also like to obtain software (if any) 
 for emulation/viewing data for this chip (Motorola 6811 series?).  If 
 anyone could please direct me to any sources in the United States for 
 these items (interfacing with an IBM-compatible computer), I would be most 
 grateful.
