Heads Up Display

Head's up Displays use a complex set of optics to get the focal point of the
image to appear at the end of the hood or beyond.  Trying to build one is not
for the weak minded.  They are certinly NOT monitors reflected off the
windscreen.  Aircraft HUD's have the ability to project images at programmable
distances.  I have seen the former and it's REAL complex... I'll never see the
latter.
