Fuel Pump Return line

  I suggested perhaps putting a tee into the pump intake

This is dumb -- I'm responding to my own post!  It has struck me
that there might be a recirculating air problem -- air bubbles would be
purged if recirculated back into tank, but not if recirculated around
to the pump inlet ?
