Subaru Fault codes

Unfortunately, it turns out that the fault codes were misleading. I've
traced the problem to a worn bushing in the torque converter, which allows
the mounting bolts to come into contact with the adaptor plate. This
contact was enough to be picked up by the knock sensors, fooling the cpu
into believing the engine was about to self destruct!
