I have tested the LM1949 with injectors, and it works as advertised.
Over on the efi332 group, threr are a few designs using this part.
I have made a board which groups four units together on a single
board (the EFIDRV board). This board has been constructed and tested
with all four injectors driven for long periods of time, without failing
or overheating. There is a WWW page schematic (and the board can be
etched by AP circuits, who has the layout):

Sandy has also developed a board using the LM1949, and is similar to
the EFIDRV, with the addition of opto-coupled inputs and on-board power
regulator. There is a group buy on this board over on the efi332
group happening right now.
