For the most part - I think/thought OBD-II should be a great tool for 
the DIYer.  A wealth of documented real time information should be 
available through the port.  Suprised the subject hasn't come up 
sooner, is anyone using OBD-II yet for DIY info???

On the downside, OBD-II needs that speedo input, so disconnecting the 
speedo in general terms will cause some error codes.  Maybe not a 
problem if you don't live in an area of EPA inspections.

Any thoughts?
