Driving Solenoid Valve (Re: Electronic Boost Control)

I've used the solenoid valve that comes with the Turbonetics boost 
controller.  We ditched the Turbonetics controller and control the 
solenoid directly from our ECM.  We control it at 20hz which is what 
Turbonetics did.  I didn't check the part number of the valve, but it 
looks no different than a standard industrial 3 way solenoid valve.  My 
guess is that it isn't really designed for PWM applications.
