GM ECU Info

Hi folks,

Not a very original subject title, but hey.
I have a GM ECU # 1226026 (used on 83 Cross-Fire TBI).
It uses a 82S181 BPROM for the fuel maps etc.

I was hoping one of you wizzes out there may be able to give me the 
following info -

What processor is it based on - 6801, 6809 etc.
Can anyone decipher the ROM data, I've read it off.
Along those same lines, I'm not so much interested in the fuel/ign 
maps, more the T.C.C lockup control. (anything will do though).
Was this ECU used in any other engine combos?
Ignoring the recent ALDL discussions, what comes out of this one?.
Is there an emulator which will act like a 82S181 BPROM, (these 
aren't eraseable, so it's going to be expensive to experiment 
otherwise).
