1993 or 1994.  I know that 1993 was speed density and 1994 brought back
the MAF.  I *THINK* that 1993 was also batch, but don't quote me on it :)

Anyways, yes, early batch fire can be converted to sequential with either
your own home-brew setup or an aftermarket conversion.
