Fuel pump questions

If you're doing a retrofit it's a piece of cake, just use a Mallory
EFI fuel pump, they have one 14ish psi 60 gal/hr job. That's positive
displacement (gerotor), and you just splice it in, by the tank perferably
below the fuel level. Got mine at Summit, don't have the part no., but
can look it up, if ya don't have a Mallory/Summit Catalog. They say
to use a filter between the pump and tank, I use a Mallory Filter (big
AL job) but without filter, both in+out are on top, and just use the
housing as a seperator, done about 40,000 miles. Usually tanks have more
than one line in them and since your's is for off road use, you can use
a Charcoal canister line as the return. Just be sure it's not below the
fuel level, or there will be excessive presssure in the return line.
