Pretty good torque for a little 305!  Think of how much you would have
with a 350 or a 383!  Expecially with turbos.  So far as mileage
goes...I know someone who has some sorta pontiac car (a boat) with the
original 305, never been touched, has over 300,000 miles on it.  I would
really look into a rebuild...just my opinion.  Any excuse to tear it
apart!
