Traction compound (not efi related)

Paint protection is not really a problem, since its actually to soften up
some slightly old tyres (10 years, but practically never used) on a race car
(not drag racing).  The tyres are slightly hard, but I know of people who
have virtually soaked their tyres in traction compound and that worked.

What strength of bleach are we talking about, will White King work (normal
household chlorine/bleach cleaner) ?
