Converting to EFI from Carb - help

Similar question. I have a 87 Chevy El Camino with the Rochester Q-Jet. 
If I wanted to convert to TBI would a 1988 Caprice be a suitable donor 
vehicle. My El Camino has a early 80's 350 in it.

 Would the intake manifold bolt up?  I have a lead on one that has 115k 
miles, no further info. Would the gas tank in the Caprice mount into my 
El Camino? Seems like the best way to get to an in tank fuel pump?
