Hello:

I have a friend with a '89 Pontiac Grand Prix.  His ignition module is 
shot and the garage says he needs a new one.  How do you test these??

Next question is ...does anyone know a good source for the modules?  Is 
this the same thing as the coil pack that electromotive sells??

The Dealer wants $800.00 bucks for the thing !!!!!!   There's got to be a 
cheaper source.  Jobbers aren't that much cheaper.
