control algorithm for MAF setup

Next time you're flying, establish a stable altitude and power setting,
then start leaning the mixture and watch what happens to the EGT, and
what reactions you get from the Tach and/or Manifold Pressure guage. By
watching only the EGT, can you tell me where the peak power mixture
occured? When you go leaner than that, what does the EGT do?
