Greetings George... thought you were disappearing for a while... haven't
seen or heard much from ya ! The only new news is *I AM NOW EMPLOYED*.
Got the offer letter today, so some relief has overcome me :)

I agree its neater, because you can route cables and tie them in a more
organized fashion (I have a lot of experience with this since I used to
manage cable guys for the bank I worked at), however, there is something
about instant functionality in leaching an existing harness (i.e. donor's
harness) and shoving it all under the hood. Its nice when you turn the key
for the first time and the engine turns over.

But, I can't see how crimping 200 little spade lugs could be easier than
dropping the factory harness into the compartment and holding it on with
three wire ties. Cleanliness requires work :)

I intend to, I left another note on it last night. Aside from the engine
and EFI management boxes, I also wanted the front spindles since they are
identical to the 2wd S-10 ones I have leached from the boneyard. Spares
are spares. Anything I can grab off it will be just fine. The interior is
not what I want, but that's okay, it will leave with the carcass assuming I
can get the car. Since I don't need the rear or the tranny, or some of the
other useless stuff (to me) I plan to put an ad in the paper and sell it
all off. I already took the liberty yesterday morning of jacking the car
up and looking at the ball joints <G>. Good shape :)

As long as its not like the Ford systems that counteract the extra airflow
via turbo or Paxton, I'm a happy guy. I'm not overly familiar with the
Buick 350/305, but as you stated before you thought they were identical to
the Chevy equivilent. If that's the case, then I have a Paxton and the
proper mounting brackets. If not, I can order the brackets from Paxton and
be done with it.

Geez, nice guy, and here I was going to offer you the tranny for UPS COD :)
