I hear the can generate excess heat at high RPM's, not sure what was
meant by high.
I know in the Mustang Cobra's it doesn't do good up in there powerband,
which is 4500rpm.

Lightning will get a Vortech. Gotta do something to keep up with the
Ford Thunderbolts. 454 SS's on the other hand, well let's just say it's
not a problem.
