The GM TBI regulator will bypass the extra fuel from the high pressure port
fuel pumps with no problem. At least I've never had any problem. I regularly
use an inline pump rated at 95 psi, and with a gauge on the TBI inlet line
it maintains a nice 12- 14 psi.
