Kevin,
GM 4bbl TBI? I have never heard of one.
You could call Holley tech line at: 800-225-0908 they might know the
bore size. I was told by Holley tech that they have no 55lb/hr
injectors; When I asked Howell, they quoted me 55 lb/hr as the
injector rate they provide for this Holley. Closest
Holley p/n is 522-14, at 57 lb/hr. Perhaps Howell charges $207 to reduce
setting on the fuel pressure reg? Incidentally, although various
lb/hr injectors are available (45, 50, 57, 65, 80) Holley tech told
me you get 65s with the 700CFM. No choice, no substitutions.
Another basic question: is it reasonable to assume I could tweek the
fuel pressure down to efficiently deliver 55 lb/hr from 65 rated
injectors? There must be a point where spray pattern and atomization
suffers. sfg
