Can a O2 sensor get too hot?
I know that i need to correct the voltage output of the o2 sensor if the
sensor is below his operating temp. But what if the temperature is above
this value?(1000 instead of 800deg C or more) I think this can happen in a
turbo system where the sensor is placed before the charger. Do i need to
correct the values into the other direction then?
I try to correct the reading of a heated bosch o2 sensor by measuring the
ammont of current its heating uses. I think this curve should be somewhat
indirect proportional of the temperature.
Any comments welcome.
