Just a few links that you all might find interesting.  Located a firm in
Italy selling software to read/modify the maps in ECUs.  No prices listed,
but the info there does look promising.  They're Dimensione Sport, and the

As for engine weights, long ago I bookmarked a site listing weights for
quite a few different engines.  Interesting stuff.  It's at:
