Snake oil too??

I'm planning to use JET HOT (800) 432-3379  or 610-277-5646. They are in AZ.
and in PA.   They are expensive ($290.00) to coat my headers with 2000 deg.
coating. 1600 deg. F and 1300 deg.F coatings cost less.  How hot will you
get? Check on the web.  I would be surprised if you don't have a coater
close by.


Caution on header wraps:
Although the retain more heat than coatings,  they only are on the outside,
so the the ID of the header tube is unprotected and can not get rid of the
heat.  Most all header companies will void the warranty if header wrap is
used, and I've talked to several people who said their headers disintegrated
inside the wrap.
