Caddy DIS + 730 or 165 ECM's

Hello all,

Is anyone familiar with pre-Northstar Caddy DIS systems?  I'd like to marry
a V8 DIS ignition to a 730 or 165 controller, using OEM parts including any
cam or crank position wheels/sensors.  Any info would be appreciated, such
as interface details, software changes, or year/model info on donor Caddy
parts of this particular flavor.
