GM water pumps

Although it doesn't answer the water pump question, for the heater core
bypass valve try GM #14044414. One side has 3/4" and the other 5/8"
fittings. When vacuum is applied, it cuts the water flow to the heater
core and routes the water back to the return line (others I've seen just
shut the water off). I spliced the vacuum line into my A/C "max" switched
vacuum port, the same port that actuates the recirculate air door. Check
TSB #06-12-03 (oct '94) for other mods if you're unhappy with your s-10
A/C performance.
