VATS Bypass

Check your plugs for signs of running excessively lean, EGR usually cool 
the burn temperature by diluting the mixture. If the plugs have been in the 
engine for a while put a fresh set in and make a few full throttle passes 
then pull them and look for overheated electrodes/isolators. If your are 
not sure what to look for get a  Haynes manual they usually have good shots 
of plug conditions.

Bruce, what about his concerns about burning up his engine?

I'm running the 'vette heads without headers currently, so I'm not running
EGR either (interestingly, I don't get a code set).

Am I in danger of damaging my engine?
