Thank you.  Thanks to two good friends in the auto industry, I had the
right help all throughout.  They facililated a lot of illogical neat ideas
I had into something tangible.  So Kudos :)

I was entirely shocked actually, for the GN folks are always suggesting a
500HP limit.  But then, it only lasted 22 minutes :)

Absolutely :)  But I can't afford one :)  Not at how I was going through
them.  I actually ended up building 3 motors, all of which cooked.  A set
of pistons every time got to be a bit much.  The one I "brag" about was the
only one that exceeded the 500 HP mark without exploding immediately.

So, I think I got lucky with an amazingly well cast crank, block, and head
combination.  But, it occured, so gotta brag while I can <G>.

For the mid-engined car, the original HP goal was 500 HP at 6000 RPM, since
a 2200 lb target weight really can't use anymore power than that.  It will
just "slide" across the pavement rather than stick.
